On 09-25-15 at 3:18pm, the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office responded to a motor vehicle crash on US 151 at the intersection with Oakwood Road, in the Township of Trenton, Dodge County, Wisconsin. Preliminary investigation shows that a 1991 Dodge Spirit (operated by Orville Kemink, 78 years old, from Brandon, WI) was facing west in the median cross over on US 151 at Oakwood Road. The Dodge conducted a left/south turn onto US 151 and traveled into the right/outside southbound traffic lane. A 2004 Kenworth RV (operated by Ronald Buholzer, 68 years old, from Monroe, WI) was traveling south on US 151 in the right/outside traffic lane, approaching Oakwood Road. The front of the RV struck the rear of the Dodge, forcing the Dodge off of the roadway. Ronald Buholzer and his passenger (Steven Buholzer, 63 years old, from Monroe, WI) were uninjured in the crash. Kemink sustained life threatening injuries and was flown from the scene by Flight for Life helicopter to Aurora Summit Hospital. Assisting at the scene was: Wisconsin State Patrol, Dodge County Emergency Management, Waupun Fire, Lifestar EMS, Dodge County Highway Department. The crash remains under investigation by the Dodge County Crash Investigation Team.
