The North Fond du Lac School Board has approved a preliminary budget. Superintendent Aaron Sadoff says third Friday enrollment counts show 60 new students in the district resulting in an increase in state aid. “No thanks to Madison because the reason we are going to be able to have a balanced budget is because we have increased enrollment,” Sadoff told WFDL news. “If we didn’t have increased enrollment than we were looking at about a $250,000 deficit.” Sadoff says the budget will be finalized at the district annual meeting next month. Sadoff says budget does not include an increase in the tax levy.
