John and Sue Sutter, registered pharmacists and owners of Marshland Pharmacy, along with Kim Miller, FACHE, president and CEO of Beaver Dam Community Hospitals, Inc. (BDCH), have announced that the transition of Marshland Pharmacy’s Beaver Dam location to be owned and operated by BDCH will be official on Monday, Nov. 2. The retail pharmacy provides services to patients at 705 S. University Ave., and is located on the first floor of the Vita Park Medical Clinic building inside Beaver Dam Community Hospital. Patients and residents will see little-to-no changes, as BDCH Pharmacy will provide the same high-level pharmacy services Marshland Pharmacy offered. This includes convenient home delivery service, the only remaining one of its kind in Beaver Dam. “The team at BDCH looks forward to expanding upon our current pharmacy services and growing the Vita Park retail location,” said Kim Miller, FACHE, BDCH President and CEO. “This acquisition is another example of BDCH’s commitment to providing a full continuum of services to the residents of the region.” The location will continue to operate as Marshland Pharmacy through the close of business on Friday, Oct. 30, and will reopen on Monday, Nov. 2 as BDCH Pharmacy.
