UW-Fox Valley Dean Martin Rudd has been named the new Northeastern Regional Dean as part of a new restructured administrative system. As regional dean, Dr. Rudd will oversee UW-Fond du Lac, Fox Valley and Manitowac. Under the new administrative model announced in July the 13 UW Colleges are grouped into four regions with one executive dean per region. The transition will begin immediately with an expected completion date of mid-December. The campus executive dean positions will be eliminated effective December 31st. All current Deans, including UW Fond du Lac Dean John Short are tenured faculty members and will decide whether to accept teaching positions within the UW Colleges. Dr. Rudd will be a guest at 9:10am Monday on AM 1170 WFDL’s Between the Lines program.
