A jury trial is scheduled for a Fond du Lac man charged in connection with a violent domestic incident. Forty four year old Michael Retzlaff faces multiple charges including strangulation and suffocation, battery, criminal damage to property and disorderly conduct. A jury trial has been scheduled for November 4th. According to a criminal complaint Retzlaff choked a woman and used a hammer to destroy items in her home. He fled the scene and was later pulled over by sheriff’s deputies on Highway 41 near Highway 49 where he was taken into custody at gunpoint.
