Keep your hands on the steering wheel…the Wisconsin AAA says there is a possibility gas prices could drop below two dollars a gallong before the end of the year. State Triple A spokesman Nick Jarmucz says prices at the pump have been fluctuating in recent weeks as refineries undergo routine fall maintenance. But Jarmucz says expect prices to stabilize late this fall and some analysts say they could drop below that magical $2 a gallon mark around Christmas. “In some places around the country its very close or actually at that. Whether the national average and we here in Wisconsin will see those prices remains to be seen but its still a lot better than what it was at this time last year,” Jarmuscz told WFDL news.
