The Department of Public Works is informing motorists of the closure of Division Street between Main Street and Macy Street. The closure will begin Tuesday, October 27th and remain closed 3 weeks. The street will be closed to allow a contractor to replace the water main on Macy Street at the intersection with Division Street. Traffic on Macy Street will be restricted to one lane of southbound traffic. Access to local businesses will be allowed from Main Street and the public parking lot off of Macy Street. Motorists are encouraged to find an alternate route as there will not be a signed detour. Also, Military Road will close Tuesday and remain closed for the remainder of the week.
