The Fond du Lac Advisory Park board is recommending approval of a conceptual plan for a new neighborhood park on the city’s southside. Public Works director Jordan Skiff says the park is situated on property along South Park Avenue near Wilsher and Southern Edge Drive. Skiff says the city received more than 100 responses to a survey on what residents want to see incorporated into the park. He says the idea is to keep the park mostly in it’s natural state. Skiff says the city hopes to develop the park next year. Skiff says there are also plans the develop two more parks in the next couple of years….the Meadowlands Park off Country Lane near Rienzi Road and Primrose Drive and another park in the Hunter Grove subdivision near Highway K…north of Highway 23.
