Forty families were able to enjoy a Thanksgiving meal with all the trimmings this year thanks to student senate members from Moraine Park Technical College in Fond du lac, and area businesses and community donations. The “Giving for Thanksgiving” food drive surpassed its goal with students collecting groceries, gift cards and monetary donations. The students were able to add extra items to each bag and provide non perishable food items to the Fond du Lac Food Pantry, Men’s Shelter and the Fond du Lac Warming Shelter.
