Get those clubs out of the basement…for the first time in its history the Rolling Meadows Golf Course in Fond du Lac has reopened for some late fall golf. Rolling Meadows Golf Pro Jeremiah Hoffman says there was only one time in recent memory where the course actually stayed open into December. “In 2009 we were open on December 2nd and then we got a foot of snow the next day,” Hoffman told WFDL news. “But this is by far the latest and the first time we’ve closed and then reopened.” Meanwhile Hoffman says the course made money this season in record fashion. “For the first time ever, in golf and carts, the county went over the $1 million mark in sales,” Hoffman said.
