The Fond du Lac County Economic Development Corporation president says a new economic forecast shows area business leaders are cautiously optimistic for economic growth in 2016. The forecast was developed with input from 40 private business leaders across the county. FCEDC president Steve Jenkins says among the findings, 42 percent expect the economy to remain stable, but 54 percent felt the economy would be better. Fifty eight percent expected stable employment and 71 percent expected wages to increase. More than 70 percent of the panel expected capital investment would moderately or significantly increase in 2016.
