12-11-15 wedc plans trip to germany

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Gov. Scott Walker’s job creation agency is looking for companies willing to travel to a technology trade show in Germany this spring.  The Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation is extending invitations to join the Wisconsin delegation at the Hanover Messe trade event for industrial technology in Hanover in late April. The event is expected to draw more than 200,000 attendees and will feature more than 6,600 exhibitors from 62 countries.  WEDC officials say they’ll help companies determine which sessions to attend. Fees for representatives of Wisconsin companies that export goods or services will range from $3,100 to $3,300 per person. Registrants from state agencies, associations and service providers that aren’t exports will have to pay $10,700.
