A Fond du Lac man arrested following an armed standoff over the weekend has been charged. Anthony Miotke made his initial Fond du Lac court appearance Tuesday on charges of battery, disorderly conduct and bail jumping. Bail was set at $15,000 cash. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for February 26th. Police say Miotke got into an argument with a woman at a North Marr Street residence Saturday evening, armed himself with a knife and barricaded himself in the bathroom. He eventually surrendered without further incident after the police SWAT team was called. Nobody was hurt.
