A Ripon man who was already found guilty in Federal Court of heroin charges is now facing charges in Waushara County for another heroin offense. Sheriff Jeffrey Nett says in February, the Waushara County Sheriff’s Office initiated a Felony Heroin delivery investigation involving 28-year-old Christopher Malzhan. Authorities were able to buy heroin from Malzhan at a location in Waushara County and later in the City of Berlin. Nett says following the Berlin transaction, Malzhan and another individual was arrested. Malzhan is charged in Waushara County Circuit Court with Manufacture/Delivery of Heroin and placd under a $25,000 cash bond. Nett says additional charges will be coming in Green Lake County. Malzhan was currently out on pre-trial release after being found guilty in Federal Court in Milwaukee of Conspiracy to Possess Heroin with the Intent to Deliver in 2013. Malzhan was one of 23 defendants indicted in that case
