A Milwaukee woman charged in the heroin overdose death of a Fond du lac woman has been found competent to stand trial. At a competency hearing Fond du Lac judge Richard Nuss found 53 year old Andrea Griffin competent to go to trial on charges of first degree reckless homicide and manufacture-delivery of heroin. Griffin is accused of supplying heroin that led to the death of Carolyn Tries at a Sheboygan Street residence August 22nd. A plea and sentencing hearing is scheduled for June 2nd. Griffin is being held in the Fond du lac County Jail on $20,000 cash bond.
