3-22-16 sentencing hearing scheduled for fdl woman convicted of killing her husband

A sentencing hearing has been scheduled for a Fond du Lac woman convicted in the shooting death of a her husband.  A sentencing hearing has been scheduled for May 27th.  Back in January it took a  Fond du lac jury only a couple of hours before finding Eve Nance guilty of first degree intentional homicide and hiding a corpse.  The charge carries an automatic life prison sentence…but a judge has discretion in allowing for early release on extended supervision.  District Attorney Eric Toney says he is still evaluating what his recommendation will be.   Nance was convicted in the shooting death of her husband Timothy Nance at their Fond du Lac home and disposing of his body in Milwaukee.
