The Fond du Lac County Clerk says we could see a record turnout locally for the April 5th primary election. Clerk Lisa Freiberg says she wouldn’t be surprised to see a turnout close to 50 percent. Meanwhile Freiberg says polling place volunteers are being trained to make sure voting goes smooth on election day with the new voting equipment and photo id requirement. Freiberg says she doesn’t expect super long lines even with a higher turnout.
