A Fond du Lac man is lucky to be alive after apparently suffering a medical emergency prior to a crash in Fond du Lac. Fire Chief Pete O’Leary says rescue personnel were called to the scene at the intersection of South Main and 9th Streets to a report of a two vehicle crash. O’Leary says the driver of one of the vehicles was pulseless and not breathing when paramedics arrived. O’Leary says paramedics used an automated external defibrillator to revive the man and he was transported to St. Agnes Hospital.
