MADISON, Wis. (AP) — A new report says sales of existing homes in Wisconsin rose roughly 4 percent last month compared with a year earlier. The statistics released Monday by the Wisconsin Realtors Association say existing home sales were up 4.1 percent from February 2015, while the median sales price rose 6.8 percent to $146,800. Association board chairman K.C. Maurer said in a statement that Wisconsin’s housing market has had a “very robust” winter. He said momentum is being carried into the spring and summer months, when most sales traditionally happen. The number of homes available for sale was down 11.8 percent from February 2015 to just under 38,000 homes.
