MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker says it wouldn’t be a bad thing for Republicans if the party’s presidential nominee is decided at the convention this summer. Walker said Wednesday that if no one gets the majority of delegates before the convention, he has a “hard time imagining” they would materialize there. Walker has not endorsed anyone in the race, but when he dropped his presidential bid in September he urged others to join him so it would be easier to defeat Donald Trump. Walker says “If it’s an open convention, the rules are the rules. I don’t care who it is. If you don’t get 1,237, the rules clearly lay out what happens at the convention.” Walker says he expects to be a delegate.
