The rock group Jackyl will headline this summer’s Walleye Weekend Festival in Fond du lac. Jackyl has been entertaining fans with their music since 1991. They will perform at 8:30pm on Saturday June 11th on the TCX Point Stage. With a mix of heavy metal and southern rock, Jackyl’s hits include “Down on Me”, “When Will it Rain” and “The Lumberjack.” The band is in the Guiness Book of World Records for performing 100 shows in 50 days and 21 shows in 24 hours. The band has toured with Aerosmith, Damn Yankees, Kiss, Ted Nugent and ZZ Top. Their second album, Push Comes to Shove, went gold in 1994.
