A Ripon College political science professor says it remains to be seen how much of  an impact next week’s presidential primary in Wisconsin will have on who wins  the nomination of either party.   Professor Marty Farrell says part of the problem is that Wisconsin is not a winner take all state in terms of delegates.  Farrell says Ohio governor John Kasich is hoping to win over delegates at a contested Republican National convention.  Farrell says another unknown question is whether Senator Ted Cruz could get the party’s nomination without getting the required number of delegates prior to the convention.  “This is unchartered waters,”  Farrell told WFDL news.  “I think he (Cruz) is almost as negatively viewed by a lot of the members of the (Republican) party as Trump.”
