The wife of presidential candidate Ted Cruz made a stop in Fond du lac Wednesday evening along with former presidential candidate Carly Fiorina. Heidi Cruz and Fiorina appeared at a packed Cruz Victory Headquarters on Forest Avenue in Fond du lac Wednesday evening. Cruz said her husband will fight for the working class, protect constitutional liberties and keep the country safe if he is elected. Fiorina says Wisconsin residents will play an important role in the nomination process when they vote next week. Fiorina took a shot at Donald Trump when she told the crowd that “Wisconsin is in a position to send a clear message to the rest of the nation the difference between a real conservative and an act.”
