(AP) — Another death in Wisconsin has been linked to an unprecedented outbreak of a bacteria known as Elizabethkingia.  Eighteen people who have been diagnosed with the bloodstream infection have died in Wisconsin. State health officials say most are over 65 and have a serious underlying health condition. A new downtown Fond du lac exploratory committee has been formed and will meet once a month.   Former councilmember and downtown business owner Sam Meyer has been named chairman of the 17 member committee.  Meyer says the committee hopes to use the resources of the UW-Fond du Lac Extension office to help facilitate the meetings.   The committee was formed to look into ways to improve the downtown and report back to the city council […]
