3-28-16 fdl man killed in car crash identified

Authorities have identified the victim of a one vehicle rollover crash in Fond du lac.  Assistant Police Chief Steve Thiry says 33 year old Christopher Chapman was pronounced dead at the scene on County Highway V near Hampton Avenue.  Thiry says an initial investigation indicates that shortly before 9:30pm Thursday Chapman was traveling northbound on County Highway V near Hampton Ave. when his vehicle left the roadway and rolled over.   Chapman was ejected from […]

3-28-16 ripon man charged in connection with shooting incident

A Ripon man has been charged in a shooting incident in Ripon Wednesday evening.   Twenty eight year old  Lewis R. Sanchez made his initial Fond du lac court appearance this week on charges of  recklessly endangering safety, possessing a firearm while intoxicated and disorderly conduct with a dangerous weapon.  Fond du Lac County Circuit Court Judge Gary Sharpe ordered a $1,000 cash bond.  A preliminary hearing is scheduled for March 31st.  Shortly after 6pm Wednesday […]
