MADISON, Wis. (AP) — A state elections official says the wait to cast a ballot at one polling place in Wisconsin was two hours. Government Accountability Board elections administrator Michael Haas says a voter called from the Town of Cottage Grove in Dane County who ended up leaving his polling place because the wait was too long. Haas says elections officials contacted the town clerk to see if help was needed. Haas says he talked to a-half dozen election clerks Tuesday who told him the polls were busy, but not unmanageable. State elections officials expectedt 1.7 million voters to go to the polls for the presidential primary in Wisconsin, or about 40 percent of eligible voters.
