An 82 year old Glenbeulah, Wisconsin woman was transported to St. Agnes Hospital with what appeared to be life-threatening injuries following a car versus truck crash east of Fond du Lac Thursday afternoon. Rescue personnel were called to the scene on Highway 23 and Pit Road near Mount Calvary around 2:30pm. A female driver was pinned in the vehicle and had to be extricated. Sheriff’s captain Rick Olig says it appears the woman was turning left from Pit Road onto Highway 23 when her car was hit by a straight truck. Theda Star helicopter was initially called and landed at the scene, but paramedics were able to stabilize the woman and transported her by ambulance to St. Agnes.
