The City of Fond du Lac Public Library is celebrating National Library Week with an opportunity to return overdue books and other materials with no overdue fees assessed. On Friday only people were able to “Extinguish Your Fines” with the help of Fond du Lac Firefighters Local 400 and J.F. Ahern Company. Each of the organizations donated $2000 to help “Extinguish Your Fines”. In addition, for the month of April, the library will also forgive $1 on any money owed for every nonperishable food item donated.
