MADISON, Wis. (AP) — A state John Doe probe into allegations of abuse at Wisconsin’s youth prison has expired under new time limits Republicans imposed last year. Attorney General Brad Schimel and Lincoln County District Attorney Don Dunphy didn’t seek an extension for the investigation at the Irma facility. Gov. Scott Walker signed a bill last year that limits such investigations to six months.
