4-30-16 fdl high school, rosenow elementary placed in lockdown friday afternoon

Fond du Lac High School and an elementary school were placed in lockdown as a precautionary measure Friday afternoon after some alleged threats were made.   Assisstant police chief Steve Thiry says a woman who has children at both  Rosenow Elementary school and  Fond du lac High school told police her ex husband had directed some threats toward her.  Both schools were placed on what’s called a  “Yellow Alert” until police resolved the situation.  Thiry says the man was located in Green Lake County about an hour later and arrested.  The alert was lifted at about 2pm..
