Scott Walker has signed sign a bill lifting Wisconsin's ban on new nuclear plants.  State regulators currently can't approve a new nuclear plant unless a federal facility for storing waste exists and the plant doesn't burden ratepayers. 4-2-16 server failure cuts clerks from wisconsin voter system

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Wisconsin state agencies' computers are back online after a server failure.  The server went down Friday morning. 4-1-16 waupun prison inmate sentenced to additional 20 years

A Waupun prison inmate convicted of attempting to kill another inmate and attacking a correctional officer  will spend an additional 20 years in prison and 10 years of extended supervision.  Eric Conner was sentenced Thursday in Dodge County Circuit court.  Connor attacked another inmate in his cell with a homemade knife and repeatedly punched a guard who tried to subdue Connor following the stabbing.
