A Lomira woman convicted in connection with a fatal traffic crash in Fond du lac County has been ordered to pay restitution.  Fond du lac judge Dale English ordered Heather Cleveland pay $10,000 in restitution to the family of the victim and the insurance company.  The 28 year old Cleveland was sentenced last June to three years in prison and two years of extended supervision after she was convicted of […]

1-31-17 fire damages vacant house in van dyne

Nobody was injured in a fire at a vacant Van Dyne home Monday afternoon.  Shortly before 1pm firefighters were called to the scene at W6855 Park St. in Van Dyne.  Fire departments from Van Dyne, North Fond du Lac, Brandon and Ripon, along with deputies from the Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene. An Eden barn was destroyed by fire early Monday morning.  Firefighters were called to the scene on Maple Lane to find the barn engulfed in flames.  Nobody was injured and no animals were lost in the fire.

1-31-17 fdl city council amends beekeeper ordinance
