1-12-17 fdl school officials say threat against high school is not credible

Fond du Lac School officials say classes will be conducted as usual Thursday after a threatening note was discovered at the high school.  Principal Michelle Hagen says the note was found by a staff member in the hallway of the English pod Wednesday afternoon.  School officials called police who investigated and determined the threat was not credible.  However Hagen says there will be an increased police presence at the school Thursday.  Superintendent Dr. Jim Sebert  plans to be at the school during the lunch hour.  Meanwhile, in Oshkosh,  school officials say North and West High Schools are closed today due to an unconfirmed threat.
