Area schools closed for a second day in a row Tuesday after the National Weather Service extended a winter weather advisory for all of southern Wisconsin. National Weather Service meteorologist Sarah Marquardt says the good news is temperatures will be gradually warming during the day and the rest of this week. “Milder temperatures are in store of the rest of the week,” Marquardt told WFDL news. Troy Haase with Fond du Lac Fire and Rescue says people still need to be careful when walking on sidewalks and parking lots.
