Its an evening of jazz at Fond du lac High School this weekend. The high school’s Jazz Emsembles will present “Live! In Swing City” Saturday evening at the high school commons. High School band director Matt McVeigh jazz may have been born in New Orleans, but it was popularized in Midwestern dance halls. “We’ve got 75 students in three jazz bands performing,” McVeigh told WFDL news. The event will feature a dinner beginning at 6pm and dance at 7. Tickets are available for the dance and or dinner and can be purchased at hometowntickets.com or in person at the Thelma Sadoff Center for the Arts. Tickets may also be purchased an hour before performance at the door.
