2-25-17 area law enforcement busy with vehicle runoffs

Glare ice is reported on area roads Friday evening resulting in several vehicle run-offs.  In the Fond du Lac and Dodge county area  National Weather Service meteorologist Sarah Marquardt says  more snow is forecast for Friday night and Saturday.  Rescue personnel were called to a two vehicle crash on Highway 23 near Hilltop Drive around 5pm Friday.  One person was transported to the hospital with minor injuries.  Glare ice was reported on the Johnson Street bridge Friday evening.   The bridge was closed for a period of time until Public Works crews were able to apply salt.  Fond du lac Fire and Rescue responded to 174 West Follett Street to a report of a tree falling on a vehicle with power lines down. The Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office says area roads are slippery.   Rescue personnel were called Friday morning to a one vehicle rollover crash on Highway 175 south of Fox Ridge.  There was a rollover crash Friday morning in Dodge County.
