2-28-17 fdl yacht club member says its a miracle ice shove did not damage building

The Fond du Lac Yacht Club treasurer says it’s a miracle that a huge ice shove didn’t damage the building.  Tom Clausen says he was eating dinner at the Yacht Club Friday night when the shove pushed up against the building.  “There was about a two inch scrape in one of the doors.  The gutter was down an inch.  It was a miracle,”  Clausen told WFDL news.  Clausen says he thought the building was going to be destroyed, but says fortunately the ice stopped moving before it could cause any damage.
