2-25-17 area law enforcement busy with vehicle runoffs

Glare ice is reported on area roads Friday evening resulting in several vehicle run-offs.  In the Fond du Lac and Dodge county area  National Weather Service meteorologist Sarah Marquardt says  more snow is forecast for Friday night and Saturday.  Rescue personnel were called to a two vehicle crash on Highway 23 near Hilltop Drive around 5pm Friday.  One person was transported to the hospital with minor injuries.  Glare ice was […]

2-25-17 anti-heroin drug

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Wisconsin Attorney General Brad Schimel has made a deal with the manufacturer of a drug used to reverse overdoses to make it more readily available at a lower cost. Schimel on Thursday announced the partnership with Adapt Pharma for the drug Naloxone. MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Republican Attorney General Brad Schimel has filed an appeal with the U.S. Supreme Court challenging a ruling striking down GOP-drawn legislative boundaries as unconstitutional.  Schimel filed the appeal with the nation's highest court on Friday. (AP) — Organizers of the American Birkebeiner ski race have canceled this year's event in northern Wisconsin.  A snow storm that's dumped more than 10 inches of snow in parts of Wisconsin since Thursday missed the Hayward and Cable area where the annual cross-country race is held.
