4-1-17 fdl man arrested in oshkosh prostitution sting

A Fond du lac man is one of 13 men from across the state arrested for soliciting prostitutes in Oshkosh. 4-1-17 beaver dam man charged in fdl county with child sex assault

Bail has been set at $25,000 cash for a Beaver Dam man accused of sexually assaulting a child in Fond du Lac County.  Nineteen year old Andrew Twardokus made his initial Fond du lac court appearance this week.  Twardokus is charged with using a computer to facilitate a child sex crime, second degree sexual assault of a child, and two counts of exposing a child to harmful materials.  A preliminary […]

3-31-17 fiber cut causes internet, phone outage in northeast wisconsin

3-31-17 mayville police chief resigns

The embattled Mayville police chief has resigned under the cloud of a criminal investigation.  After meeting in closed session Thursday night the Mayville city council voted unanimously to accept the resignation of suspended police chief Chris MacNeill.  The vote comes after a letter was sent by Mayor Rob Boelk, alleging that MacNeill may have altered police records.  Mayor Boelk requested the state Attorney General’s office to bring a charge of […]
