Nobody was injured in a fire that significantly damaged a Fond du Lac home. Shortly before 5am Saturday firefighters were called to a residence at 386 Ledgewood Ave. Fire crews worked to extinguish the fire which is believed to have started in the basement. The homeowner was not at home at the time of the fire and there were no injuries. A newspaper delivery person called in the fire. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
