4-4-17 merc unveils new diecast machine

The largest high-pressure diecast machine in North America was unveiled Monday at Fond du lac’s Mercury Marine.  A company press release says it took 18 over sized truckloads to ship to Fond du Lac,  but now, Merc is ready to put the new machine to work.   Merc president John Pfeifer says the diecasting machine will provide Mercury the opportunity to cast more efficiently and its expand its portfolio to non-marine partners.
