The Fond du lac County Clerk is projecting a slightly higher turnout locally, compared to statewide. Clerk Lisa Freiberg is predicting a 26 percent voter turnout in Fond du Lac County Tuesday. Statewide turnout is projected at 18 percent. Freiberg says there are more than two dozen contested races on the ballot. Freiberg says she senses that many residents are suffering from voter fatigue. “We’ve had six elections in the last 15 months,’ Freiberg told WFDL news. “Its time for all election officials to just kind of sit back. We have a lot of legislation that’s being held up in court and we have that redistricting mess going on in the courts.”
