4-3-17 campbellsport woman charged in heroin ring

A Campbellsport woman is accused of running an opioid ring, dealing pills and heroin from her purse at her kitchen table.  Fifty seven year old, Lori Merget and seven others, including her son,  have been charged in Washington County with conspiracy to sell heroin.   According to a criminal complaint Merget obtained hundreds of prescription oxycodone pills per month from two Milwaukee pain clinics and street dealers. Authorities have identified the victim of  a fatal a one vehicle rollover crash  in Fond du lac County Sunday .   The Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office says 21 year old Whitney Domer of Oshkosh was pronounced dead at the scene  on Highway 26 north of Willow Creek Road in the town of  Waupun.  She was a passenger in a car driven by 18 year old Jonathan Vogel of Milwaukee.  […]

4-3-17 fire significantly damages fdl home

Nobody was injured in a fire that significantly damaged a Fond du Lac home.  Shortly before 5am Saturday firefighters were called to a  residence at 386 Ledgewood Ave.  Fire crews worked to extinguish the fire which is believed to have started in the basement.   The homeowner was not at home at the time of the fire and there were no injuries.   A newspaper delivery person called in the […]

One person received minor injuries in a crash involving  two police squad cars.   The incident happened shortly after 8pm Friday during a traffic stop on Johnson St. near N. The Fond du lac County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an incident that seriously injured a Campbellsport area man.  Shortly before 5pm Friday the Sheriff’s Office and Campbellsport ambulance were dispatched to a residence at W3827 Highway 67 for a report of a 66 year old man found in his garage bleeding from his head.  The man was flown by Flight for Life helicopter to Froedert Hospital in Milwaukee with serious […]

4-3-17 fdl man gets prison in car arson case

A Fond du lac man convicted of intentionally setting a car on fire is going to  prison.    At a hearing Friday Fond du lac judge Dale English sentenced Kevin Wilson to a year and a half in prison and one year of extended supervision.  In December Wilson pled guilty to intimidation of a witness and gave Alford pleas to arson of vehicle and  criminal damage to property.

4-1-17 authorities identify green lake county fire victim

PRINCETON, Wis. (AP) — Authorities have identified the victim of a house fire in Princeton that's being investigated as a homicide. The Green Lake County Coroner's Office on Friday named the victim as 55-year-old Grace Reiter-Rudolph, of Princeton.
