5-16-17 sexual assault-untested kits

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Wisconsin Department of Justice officials say about 60 of 6,000 untested sexual assault evidence kits have been analyzed so far.  The kits are sitting for a variety of reasons, including prosecutors deciding cases were too weak to pursue, cases were resolved without testing or victims wouldn't cooperate. 5-16-17 green bay man arrested for horse molesting was convicted in fdl county of similar crime

WFDL news has learned a Green Bay man charged in Brown County with molesting a horse was convicted several years ago of abusing horses in Fond du lac County.  Fifty three year old Sterling Rochwal is charged in Brown County with mistreatment of animals and disorderly conduct and charges are pending in Manitowac County.  Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s chief deputy Mark Strand tells WFDL news in November of 2008, […]

5-16-17 dodge county sheriff’s office investigating daytime residential burglaries

The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help following a rash of daytime residential burglaries over the last couple of months.  Sheriff Dale Schmidt says at least five burglaries have been reported in the northeastern part of the county.  Schmidt says at this point none of the homeowners have been home at the time of the burglaries.  Schmidt says often the houses targeted are isolated from other […]
