The Wisconsin Department of Transportation is holding a public information meeting Wednesday on a state Highway 44 reconstruction project from Ripon to the Winnebago County line. The project includes reconditioning the pavement and adding passing lanes to northbound 44 from Seelig Way to Page Road and southbound from Fletcher Road to just past Springbrook Road. Construction is scheduled to begin May 30th. The highway will be closed to through traffic and detoured during construction. The meeting starts at 4:45pm Wednesday, May 17th at the Ripon City council chambers.
