AAA predicts Memorial Day travel will be at its highest level since 2005. The AAA survey projects 39.3 million Americans will travel this Memorial Day weekend. In Wisconsin, AAA projects over 766,000 residents will travel, an increase of 2.5 percent over last year. State AAA spokesman Nick Jarmuscz says travelers are still hitting the road despite the highest gas prices since 2015. 2017 will mark the third consecutive year of growth in Memorial Day travel.
