6-19-17 aaa-hot weather tips for vehicles

The Wisconsin AAA says motorists need to make sure their vehicle is prepared for hot summer weather in the much same way they are prepared for winter.  State AAA spokesman Nick Jarmuscz drivers should check five key areas to help their vehicle survive higher temperatures starting with the car battery.  Jarmuscz says make sure your vehicle’s engine coolant system is working properly.  Inspect hoses and drive belts  and replace any worn parts.  Check all vehicle fluids and make sure your air conditioning system is working and make sure tires are properly inflated and have adequate tread depth.
