7-1-17 rock for hope

A local veterans group is organizing a free public concert this weekend to celebrate the 4^th of July and to bring awareness to veterans issues and non-profit community agencies.  Salute the Troops’ Dan Tinsley  says Rock for Hope will be held this Saturday at Hamilton Park, featuring several band comprised of veterans.  “Fifty days ago we started planning Rock for Hope.  We were able to get a great slew of veteran organizations that are musicians,  so five of the six band are actually comprised of veterans,” Tinsley told WFDL news.  “Between sets we’re going to have non-profits on stage talking about what they do for the community and why its important that we’re all there together. ”   Tinsley says the concert will be held from 11am to 3pm Saturday at Hamilton Park along the Fond du Lac River.
