7-31-17 fatal crash in fdl county

One person was killed and one person was seriously injured in a two vehicle crash in Fond du Lac County over the weekend.  The crash happened shortly before 8pm Saturday at the intersection of Kinker and Van Dyne Roads in the town of Friendship.  A preliminary investigation shows that a vehicle being operated by a 78-year-old Henry Miller of Waupun was westbound on Kinker Road when it failed to stop for a stop sign and was struck by a vehicle traveling south on Van Dyne Road.  A passenger in the westbound vehicle,  73 year old Darlene Drews of Waupun, was pronounced dead at the scene.  The Waupun man was flown by helicopter to the hospital.  The driver of the south bound vehicle,  40 year old  Kevin Mueller of North Fond du lac, was  transported to St. Agnes hospital with minor injuries,
