Beginning Monday, the North Fond du Lac Fire Department will be providing non-emergency patient transports.   Lieutenant of EMS Operations Adam Moriarty says those are  patients being released from either a hospital to a nursing home or to another hospital for additional specialty care services. 7-3-17 small airplane crash in northern wi

PHILLIPS, Wis. 7-3-17 governor declares fdl, sheboygan counties disaster areas for alfalfa losses

Governor Scott Walker announced Friday that ten Wisconsin counties including Fond du lac and Sheboygan have been designated disaster areas due to losses to winterkill and late freezes that hit alfalfa fields especially hard in the first five months of the year.   Farmers in those counties and 13 adjacent counties may be eligible for assistance from the USDA Farm Service Agency in the form of emergency loans.  United States […]

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Wisconsin farmers are being asked to help North Dakota farmers struggling with the drought.  Donna Gilson is a spokeswoman for the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection Secretary. She tells Wisconsin Public Radio that North Dakota has seen high temperatures, high winds and little precipitation. This year’s Foundation for Ripon Medical Center Charity Golf Outing has raised nearly $21,000 to help support Ripon Medical Center medical imaging upgrades and the areas of greatest need.    Foundation for Ripon Medical Center executive director Holly Brenner says the money will help patients, their families and staff with comfortable and accommodating access to  medical imaging equipment at Ripon Medical Center.
